Diehl on Wheels Mobile Office Will Provide Accessibility
Boston, MA … Today, Representative Geoff Diehl, candidate for U.S. Senate, rolled out his mobile office – a 30-foot wrapped RV.
“This is literally our biggest announcement. We are going to be rolling across Massachusetts to talk to voters about lowering their tax burden, fighting illegal immigration, growing jobs, and putting Massachusetts first,” said Diehl.
“Elizabeth Warren has spent her time in the Senate writing and selling books. I am going to put the people first. When elected, this RV will serve as my mobile office. As Senator I will go town to town to hear people’s concerns and help them solve problems,” said Diehl. “Unlike the incumbent, I won’t ignore the state for years.”
Up until this year, Warren has held only 5 town hall meetings. Since announcing re-election, she has held 14 town hall meetings attempting to rewrite her record of putting Massachusetts in the rearview mirror to build a national profile.
“We need a full time Senator – not a part time Senator, part time author and part time Presidential candidate,” said Diehl.
“I won’t just have the standard two offices making people drive to distances to get help. I will go to them,” said Diehl. “The biggest problem in Washington is that they are not listening to the people. So, when the Senate is not in session, I will be on the road meeting constituents to hear their concerns. I will not disappear on them.”
This week Diehl will travel to Lowell, Worcester, Springfield, Cape Cod, Taunton, Attleboro, Dedham, Gardner, Fall River, New Bedford, Brockton, Framingham, Abington, and Braintree.
Diehl, who is always frugal, bought the RV (2004 Fleetwood Fiesta 32) off of Craig’s list. His team of dedicated interns scrapped off all the logos so the RV could be wrapped. It took over 80 man hours to get the RV in shape. It is 30 feet long and 8 feet high.
The RV is wrapped with the message of how Diehl successfully fought automatic gas tax hikes saving taxpayers $2 billion and the Real Diehl slogan.
