The employer calculator
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The site code does not submit them to a server, set cookies or save them in browser storage. A downloaded CSV is created on your device and contains the scenario you entered. Your browser and device control where that file is stored.
Requests needed to read the site
Your browser requests pages, styles, scripts and font files from this site. The fonts are locally hosted copies from Google Fonts; reading a page does not require a Google Fonts connection. We have not included advertising tags, analytics scripts, embedded social widgets or a visitor account system.
Hosting and network providers may process technical request information, including IP address, request time, requested path, response status and browser information, to serve and secure the website. Provider logging and retention depend on the production hosting configuration. Calculator fields are not included in requests by our site code.
Email correspondence
Choosing an email link opens your email application. Sending a message shares your address and the content you choose to include with the Forum and the services handling email delivery. We use correspondence to address the inquiry, assess a correction or manage the research discussion. Do not send sensitive personal, employee or financial records.
Correspondence may be retained as needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can ask about access, correction or deletion by writing to [email protected]. We cannot promise deletion where retention is required or a request cannot be verified.
Other websites and changes
Some research pages link to public authorities. Following a link makes a request to that other website, whose own privacy terms apply. This notice will be dated when changed. Questions about this site’s data handling can be directed to the policy address above.
